WELCOME TO THE SILVER STATE PONY CLUB WEBSITE!

Our club, founded in 1992, is a local affiliate of the Sierra Pacific Region of the United States Pony Club.  Silver State Pony Club serves youth riders in Northern Nevada and California from South Lake Tahoe, Carson Valley, Reno and Truckee and is dedicated to the development of riders up through the age of 25 and at all levels of ability.  

Our activities include 

• Monthly mounted and unmounted meetings, 
• Regional and national competitions, 
• Winter horse care study groups, 
• Clinics, camps, intro to fox hunting and cross country schooling.

Silver State Pony Club is an organization that teaches kids and young adults English equestrian riding as well as every aspect of horse care.  We meet twice a month for Mounted and Unmounted meetings.  Locations are varied.  During the winter we have have weekly unmounted meetings.  Check out our calendar for our upcoming events.  

Silver State Pony Club is an educational non-profit organization which teaches riding, mounted sports, and the care of horse and ponies, thereby developing responsibility, sportsmanship, moral judgment, leadership, and self-confidence. Pony Club members are encouraged to volunteer for the community and some projects we have worked on locally include trail clean up and jump crew at the local shows.
